#38 Hello Summer

Finished another small quilted wall hanging.  My entryway has taken on seasonal themes lately and this one is for summer.  I got the fabric charm square package for Christmas a few years ago without a plan for its use.  So when I was looking for a summer theme I came across it and knew it was perfect for this little project.

The pattern of 4 patch squares with white sashings created a neat little grid.  

I decided to use some button embellishments of strawberries, cherries, daisies and bees.

Added a white border straight line echo quilting along the sashings.  A simple, clean design.

My sister-in-law did some custom rock artistry that fits in perfectly!
